Another podium after a strong race weekend...

Last year was a difficult race for the drivers and the team of the #188 AC Motorsport Audi RS3 LMS TCR.

From the test day on Friday to the end of the 12H race on Sunday, we shew another time good performance with strong race pace. Mathieu Detry, very fast as usual, Stéphane Perrin who did absolute beautiful stints and Stefan Wieninger who was very fast discovering the DSG gearbox and this car without ABS system.

Mathieu set a very good P2 laptime in the TCR category during the qualification session, with only one try due to a brake issue during his second attempt of push lap.

After the first part of the race, at 20h on Saturday, we were in the same lap than our rivals in the category to fight until the end for the win. We were in a good position to take the 1st place trophee, but 1h40 before the end of the race, another competitor came to contact with Stefan at the wheel at this moment, forced us to pit early to change the damage tires... We knew due to this incident we had to made a splash and dash for fuel during the last 10 minutes of the race and the checkered flag was shown to Mathieu finishing the race P2, 4,5 seconds after the winning TCR car after pushing during one stint like the hell...
