After two solid testdays and the pole position by Mathieu Detry in the TCR class before the beginning of the race, hopes were high to shine and grab a good result in the spanish Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Stéphane Perrin, Vincent Radermecker and James Kaye, the three other drivers, were back at 5 laps behind the leading TCE/TCR car after a 10 laps intervention on the splitter during the beginning of the race. We were pushing with the Audi Sport RS3 LMS TCR #188 AC Motorsport but the god of racing decided to stop us again on the way to a solid result a little bit before mid-race; 🔧 the gearbox shew signs of weak and decided to change it to finish the race P5 in the TCR class and P23 overall.
🍀 Just hope that the luck will turn to award all the team and drivers big work and efforts. Next round: 🇮Sicilia 12H beginning of October!
